About us

Europod develops the best podcasts of the continent

Our Story

Our story began in 2018. At the time, we were called Bulle Media. Passionate about audio and Europe, we were among the first to position ourselves in the podcast format. We initiated partnerships with major media outlets to support their first steps into the format. We have then developed a business model by supporting various European information producers, such as think tanks, NGOs and the media. We have joined European consortia and launched our own podcasts under the Europod brand, which has won several awards. Building on these successes, we are combining our activities around a single brand: Europod, and organising it into a triptych: media, agency and network. To find out more, read our manifesto.

Our manifesto

  • No rumours, no gossips, no 'absolute truths', no noises that flood the web. Just facts, dialogues, nuances, and quality echoed in our podcasts.

Europod is taking up a position, in an ever evolving context: never before has so much information from so many sources, circulated and shaped our opinions.

Europod’s primary goal is a generalist one: reach everyone, without distinction. No other mission is more important.

This does not prevent Europod from being specific: Europod stands out with its cross-border podcasts. They are the fruit of skills acquired and relationships forged since 2018 in the context of the development of the preceding company, Bulle Media.

Europod’s watchword is quality, in all the types of productions it provides for its listeners, clients and partners.

This is also reflected in the technical tools we use, which are always at the cutting edge of technology. We always try to be one step ahead, in the footsteps of Bulle Media, created one year before the rise of the podcast format in Europe. However, we are always careful to question the impact of the technology we use and the context in which we find ourselves.

Europod is a three-branch organization: a media, an agency and a network.

The purpose of the media is to create a community of listeners around common principles. Europod sees itself as a prescriber: it sorts through the “mare magnum” of digital noise to offer its listeners the best content on selected themes.

The agency is just as important: it enables us to support various information producers in their positioning on the podcast format, and to help them increase the impact of their projects.

Lastly, the network enables us to exchange ideas with partner organisations (media, institutions, etc.) as well as with independent podcasters throughout the EU.

Currently, our income is generated from three main sources:

    • the provision of services to clients (agency)
    • the participation in European projects (network)
    • the provision of advertising services (media)

In order to remain true to its mission, no pre-established orders from sponsors or clients are broadcasted on the media. Sponsors are invited to support podcast following editorial decision from Europod. Europod makes this choice out of respect for its listeners and to be consistent with its mission. Funding is always specified.

Anyone can get involved with Europod. To contribute to Europod, reach out to us through the website form and join us in our mission: clear the noise, start listening!
